[TNG] Season 6, Episode 25: Timescape

Thematically there isn’t a ton going on in this one, but it builds a lot of intrigue out of its time-freezing premise. Returning to the Enterprise frozen in battle, and the unfrozen away team trying to figure out the cause based on the alarming still scenes they witness is just good grist for a fun sci-fi story. So it’s mostly about the good idea that drops in the second act, but the structure is strong enough to effectively build tension throughout. Sometimes an episode is just a good time!
