I think the moral of the story might be that sometimes you prejudge people and think they’re idiots, but they might actually be idiots and jerks. This episode would get a 1 if it didn’t have so much Picard.

Notes:
Picard has something wrong with him but he doesn’t want anyone on Enterprise to know about it and he definitely doesn’t want Pulaski to do the operation
Sonja is still hanging out with Geordi. Could he have made a human friend?
They pick up a distress call from some Pakleds
Worf disagrees with everyone about how to deal with them and he actually ends up being right
And Troi tells the crew something they don’t already know!
Geordi fixes their stuff with his engineering wand
Meanwhile Picard and Wesley are on their way to a station. They eat sandwiches
He tells Wesley about how he got stabbed in the heart. It will be used for a much cooler episode later on
Picard really likes sandwiches
He looks like Gollum when he eats them. If you haven’t guessed already, my favorite part of the episode is when Picard eats sandwiches
Something goes wrong in the operation!
Man, these guys are dumb
Riker manages to outsmart the Pakleds and get Geordi back
Pulaski ends up being the only one who can save Picard
