[TNG] Season 4, Episode 20: Qpid

If you told me the premise of QPid, that the crew of the Enterprise dresses up like different characters from Robin Hood and then mostly play out the plot of Robin Hood, I’d probably say no thanks. But somehow this works?? The whole thing manages to be just charming and funny enough to get a 3.

Picard is giving a speech to archaeologists, and Vash shows up!
Picard never mentioned Vash before, so the crew is understandably interested.
Q shows up too. He says he owes Picard a favor…
…Which naturally translates to making the crew go through the Robin Hood story.
Q wants to prove a point about love or something. He says save Maid Marian (Vash) or she will die.
Picard says “EZ,” and he breaks into the castle.
but Vash doesn’t like his plan, so she turns him in.
Then Q catches Vash passing notes.
So now they’ll both be executed.
But then the others come to the rescue!
Fight!
Then they live happily ever after.
Vash says she wants to travel around with Q to a DS9 episode.
