[TNG] Season 6, Episode 5: Schisms

Effectively creepy build up and some quality android poetry push this otherwise standard mystery episode into 3 territory.

Notes:

The tease before the opening credits is Riker falling asleep while Data reads a poem about his cat. I can already tell this episode is going to be awesome!
Riker drinks milk!
Worf doesn’t like scissors!
Data doesn’t remember 90 minutes!
Riker caresses a computer console!
By the 20 minute mark, there’s just been a bunch of seemingly random information that the audience has no idea how to put together…which is actually kind of cool.
who woulda thought everyone standing around describing parts of a table would be genuinely tense??
Crusher discovers signs that Riker’s arm has been amputated and then re-attached :0
Worf comes up with an idea and they actually do it.
They put a homing device on Riker to see what’s been happening to people, but turns out its just some mild levitation.
