[ENT] Season 2, Episode 20 (Netflix: S2 E20): Horizon

This episode does some nice character development for Mayweather, but I mostly like it for it’s larger world building. It’s interesting to see how the Horizon operates, and what they think of Starfleet. It gives good perspective on the time period of the show, and the state of human space flight.

Notes:
Travis is in his “sweet spot” again
Travis is visiting his family’s ship. Reed said if they let families on board he would need a psychologist
Travis learns that his father died. The message took weeks to reach him
Travis reunites with his family. His brother is now the captain
Archer asks T’Pol on a date but he says he’ll be a perfect gentleman so that’s supposed to make it not as weird I guess
Travis starts making improvements to the ship and some feelings surface about Travis joining starfleet
They get attacked by aliens and an explosive beacon is placed on the ship. Of course the brothers disagree about what to do
They watch Frankenstein
The aliens show up again
Travis saves the day!
