This fight could have been cool, like if it was similar to the fight at the end of Red River, or maybe like in The Big Country, where they fight to exhaustion. Instead it's Anbo-jyustu, the silliest thing ever thought up

    But seriously, Riker’s dad is a fucking arsehole.

    Seriously, you haven’t seen your own son for 15 fucking years?
    Not even a birthday or when Will graduated?
    Or even any of the other times he was promoted?!

    So what, his mother died when he was a little kid.
    That doesn’t mean you have to be such a distant father.
    You wanted to be a parent. Deal with it.

    The Worf sub-plot was kinda cool though.
