[DS9] Season 2, Episode 13 (Netflix: S2 E13): Armageddon Game

I don’t normally like episodes centered around two characters getting stuck together to become friends, but Bashir and O’Brien work well together. I also feel like this episode actually adds up to something throughout the entire run of the series. O’Brien and Bashir really do become friends, whereas most bonds built in episodes like this are forgotten about by the writers.

Some aliens ask for help in destroying chemical weapons. Bashir and O’Brien give them a hand
That means it’s gonna be an episode where O’Brien and Bashir are stuck together
Just as they destroy the last of the chemical weapons they get attacked. Bashir and O’Brien are the only survivors
They run and hide out. O’Brien works on fixing a communicator thing
Bashir mainly talks about how he likes women, and get’s on O’Brien’s nerves. O’Brien seemed grouchier than normal for the first half of this episode
The aliens tell Sisko that O’Brien and Bashir were killed in an accident, and they show a video as proof
Keiko looks over the tape and notices that O’Brien is drinking coffee in the afternoon! He never does that! The tape is a fake! Sisko and Dax investigate
O’Brien got some chemical weapon spilled on him
The aliens find Bashir and O’Brien first. They want to kill them because they have knowledge of how to make chemical weapons, and as long as people have that knowledge the danger of another war exists or something. Yeah but also as long as there are psychos that will kill people for weird reasons like this, the danger of war exists
Dax and Sisko beam them up in time
Sisko has a trick to get out of the situation. It’s fairly easy for the viewer to see through the trick, but it’s still good to see Sisko being tricky
O’Brien asks for some coffee in the afternoon. Ha!
