[DS9] Let He Who is Without Sin…

[DS9] Season 5, Episode 7: Let He Who is Without Sin…

Rating: 1

I get that it’s pretty standard storytelling that you gotta go through some ups and downs to bring people to an earned resolution, but I feel like you’ll have a better understanding of Worf and Jadzia’s relationship by just forgetting this episode ever happened.

Notes:

Morn has a love interest.
The replicator thinks this is an EXTRA LARGE prune juice. This offends us Americans.
Jadzia is dressed like a puddle at a gas station.
They have dumb arguments for most of the episode. You might think dumb arguments are realistic, but if your relationship arguments are like this then I have bad news for you.
Some kind of terrorist walks into Worf’s room to get him to go to a rally. Even this far in the future and people are still one-at-a-timin’?
There’s a guy in the back that looks like he got all the left over wardrobe stuff and they just combined it all together
Despite being met with applause, this guy just tells everyone that they’re children, and they need to stop messin around if they want to beat the Dominion. I’m pretty sure Risa’s involvement isn’t gonna swing the war effort one way or another.
An attack! This guy in the back is going to town tearing down curtains, and another is just throwing pillows around. Truly menacing villains.
Bashir and Leeta are practicing the Bajoran Rite of Separation, where a couple spends time to celebrate and understand the end of their relationship. Real Gwyneth Paltrow type stuff.
We learn that Leeta likes Rom.
Worf catches Jadzia feelin up some clay.
This spurs Worf into joining the terrorists and showing them how to sabotage Risa’s weather system. Listen, Worf can be outrageously stubborn, emotionally immature, and even prone to authoritarian rhetoric, but him joining up with terrorists still seems like its a bit much – especially for an otherwise ‘low stakes’ episode.
Jadzia is playing some kind of marble game all by herself?
Worf tells Jadzia about how he killed a kid playing soccer, which resolves all of their arguments somehow.
The terrorist guy tries to punch Worf lol
Then true love.
