[ENT] Season 4, Episode 10: Daedalus

This episode has an appropriate theme, and was fairly well carried out, but is moves pretty slow and unfolds pretty much the way you think it would. The story just felt a little stretched, and devoted to characters we’ve never met before.

Enterprise welcomes the guy who invented the teleporter. He’s not super short or anything, he’s in a wheelchair. I probably could’ve got a better screenshot
T’Pol is going over the Kir’Shara
Enterprise takes the teleporter guy to a region of space called the barrens, where there aren’t stars close by (relatively speaking)
The guy says he is experimenting with long range teleportation, but Trip suspects he’s up to something else.
Meanwhile a ghost-like figure shows up and when it touches someone it kills him
Turns out it’s this guy’s son, who was teleported in an experiment and wasn’t able to be rematerialized. The guy is really trying to save his son!
Archer figures out what’s going on, and agrees to help him.
Trip doesn’t like this idea. More people could die.
They manage to lock on to his son, but if they rematerialize him, he will die.
He decides to rematerialize him and say goodbye
