[TNG] Remember Me

[TNG] Season 4, Episode 5: Remember Meremember meRating: 3

“Remember Me” has a few things that push it to a 3. Mostly it does a good job of being spooky, and maintaining that simmering dread for a lot of the episode. It also focuses on Doctor Crusher in a way that is unfortunately uncommon on TNG, and McFadden shows that she’s more than capable of carrying episodes.
It’s simplistic and obvious set up is a big drawback, and Crusher’s fear of abandonment isn’t utilized as well as it could be, but we’re still giving it a 3.

What was that? 3?! This is probably the worst episode so far! It doesnt make any sense at all! Its awful! How do you rate those? “Oh, dont like that character so.. Its 1” “Oh! This one is spooky! 3!” Its not drama! Its not fantasy or “adventures in space”! Its not DoctorWho!!! Its supposed to be strict Science fiction! It mustn`t lean on some colorful characters, not on flashy effects or intense moments! The first thing must be consistent logical universe! But how do i suppose to believe in that?!
It started interesting:”Wow, he dissapeared? How they gonna explain that? Maybe they got some interesting ideas on parallel universes?.. ..What?? They`ll have to try hard to explain that!…” But level of absurd just grows through ep and in the end turns out she created that universe with her mind!! Of course! Now just close your eyes and it all will resolve!
Though i`ll certainly REMEMBER IT! (Probably as the last watched episode of the series)
