Voyager was going to a science station but all they find is debris.
B’Elanna is experimenting with her hair.
Kes and B’Elanna go to the Doctor’s place for dinner to meet his family.
His wife calls him Kenneth. Are they still doing that thing where he’s searching for a name?
B’Elanna says his family is too perfect and that it needs to be more realistic. She says she’ll adjust the program. That’s fine. He can probably trust her on this one. She’s probably not some sicko that would make one of his kids die or something.

Janeway says that it’s too neat to pass up, and they’re going to examine these things more.
When the Doctor returns home, things are a little messy!
I like that the Star Trek version of a rebellious teenager is that he’s really into Klingon stuff.
His daughter can’t find something!
The Doctor has a family meeting and lays down some new laws. It makes them angry.
They get Paris to drive into one of the space-tornadoes.
The Doctor comes home early and finds his son ready to do a Klingon ritual to become a warrior. They have a fight and it draws them further apart.
Then he finds out that his daughter hit her head and she’s going to die! This episode just got way to dark
The Doctor decides he doesn’t want to do the program anymore.
Paris ends up in an area in between space and sub space.
When Paris gets back, he convinces the Doctor to go back to the program.
He has to tell his daughter that she is going to die.
The whole family comes together and is with her when she dies.
