[ENT] Season 3, Episode 17: Hatchery
This episode tells us mildly interesting things about the Xindi-bugs, and fleshes out the MACOs, but I find it irritating to watch characters acting foolishly because they’re under some space-spell.

Enterprise finds a crashed Xindi-bug ship.
The bugs diverted all power to a hatchery part of the ship. Archer gets sprayed in the face.
They grab one of the Xindi shuttles. This is really all you need to know from this episode. You should just skip to the next one once you get to this point.
Archer is devoting a lot of resources to save the hatchery, so now we as the audience know exactly what’s happening and we just have to wait for the episode to catch up.
Archer gets increasingly pushy. He even grabs T’Pol’s arm!
When T’Pol refuses to sacrifice one third of Enterprise’s anti-matter, Archer relieves her of duty.
While Malcolm is in command, a Xindi ship attacks and he has to destroy it.
So he gets relieved of duty too. Then Archer orders Hoshi to send a distress signal to the Xindi-bugs so they can help the hatchery. That’s suicide!
Archer starts putting the Macos in charge of everything because they follow orders. This is the most interesting aspect of the episode.
Trip tries to have Archer checked out by Phlox. Archer says no.
Turns out when Archer got sprayed it made him prioritize being a caretaker for the eggs? Who would’ve guessed??
