Hoshi starts disappearing every now and then. I don’t know if the writers felt like it was poetic or something to combine a story involving a transporter accident making her disappear along with the theme of people ignoring her and acting like she’s invisible. It mostly just doesn’t make that much sense that people would start to ignore her because of some transporter malfunction
