This episode has the promise of expanding on Kes’ character as well as the Ocampa in general, but they end up just having her make funny faces and eat strange things while going through Ocampa-puberty.

The love triangle with Kes, Neelix and Paris is really hard to watch
Kes eats bugs
Oh, I guess she didn’t mean to be eating bugs. I hate when that happens to me
It’s the first episode with Wildman
I like it when Neelix misses his comm badge
Kes eats dirt too
Then Janeway touches Kes’ face.
Kes asks Neelix to have a child with her.
Neelix goes to Tuvok for guidance. This is my favorite scene in the episode. It has Tuvok in it.
There’s also another plot happening. Voyager finds some aliens that live in space. I thought it was intriguing at first, but then it gets weird
Kes gets a foot massage
Voyager flips upside-down and emits blue stuff because the only way out was to go through the aliens’ mating practices. Seriously
Wildman says she’s pregnant. The father is back on DS9. Didn’t they leave more than a year ago?
